Susanna Olle is based in Stockholm, mainly working with traditional oil painting with which she explores subconscious thoughts and dreamscapes. Susanna has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and draws inspiration from abstract mathematical concepts by applying them to philosophical questions and comparing them to arbitrary functions, patterns or structures found in nature, society or herself. Her work is based on a form of exploration to further an understanding of the surrounding world, a continuous digging, scratching and mapping.
